Our comprehensive training programs equip individuals with intellectual disabilities with the skills, confidence, and support needed to excel in hospitality careers.
Every individual's journey is unique. Our comprehensive process ensures you receive the specific support and training needed to excel in your chosen career.
The process begins with a welcome meeting where we get to know you, your interests, and your goals related to work and employment. This initial conversation gives us insight into which supports you may need at the job and in which departments you might excel most.
We conduct a series of assessments to thoroughly understand your current skills, work readiness, and specific support needs. These may include evaluating:
This helps us tailor the support plan to your unique strengths and challenges.
Once assessment is complete, a dedicated job coach is assigned to work closely with you. Together, you'll build a strong resume, practice interview skills, and explore roles that align with your interests and abilities. Your coach guides you through exploring current job openings and works with our hotel partners to find the perfect match.
When you start your new job, your coach is right by your side. In the beginning, they observe and assist with each task you're being trained in. This includes:
Over time—usually over the course of several weeks depending on your needs—your job coach gradually steps back as you grow more independent. The goal is for you to reach a point where you feel confident working fully independently.
Even after you've achieved independence, your job coach remains available for ongoing check-ins or support if needed. We're committed to your long-term success and career growth within the hospitality industry.
