At INNclusivity, we often say that meaningful employment changes lives. Few organizations embody that belief more than the incredible team at Primrose Center in Orlando. Through our SERVE Program, Primrose Center has become one of our most valued vocational partners, helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities prepare for meaningful careers while building confidence, independence, and purpose.
Primrose Center’s mission is simple yet powerful: to help individuals achieve their “Best Life Possible” through education, employment, housing, and community engagement. Every time we visit their campus, we are inspired by the energy, determination, and enthusiasm of the individuals they serve.
Over the past year, INNclusivity has had the privilege of conducting several on-site leadership, teamwork, and hospitality employment workshops with Primrose participants. These interactive experiences introduce individuals to the hospitality industry while helping them develop workplace skills, build self-confidence, and explore career opportunities. Through our SERVE Program, participants gain exposure to real-world employment pathways and begin to envision themselves as valued members of a professional team.
The partnership doesn’t stop there.
Through our HOST Program, we work alongside hospitality employers to create inclusive workplaces and connect qualified candidates with employment opportunities. Together with Primrose Center, we have helped place several individuals into hospitality positions throughout Central Florida, including opportunities within hotels and resorts where they are thriving as valued team members. These placements demonstrate what is possible when vocational organizations and employers work together with a shared commitment to inclusion.
